Veteran Ghanaian actress Berlinda Naa Ode Oku commonly known as Adowa Smart has sought to clarify an earlier statement he made on Shatta Wale and Medikal after they were put in police custody for a misdemeanour.
According to 51-Year-old, she never said the two artists were bad influences on the youth and society.
Adwoa Smart in an interview with Hammer Nti on Pure FM had mentioned that the two artists have become a thorn in the flesh for many Ghanaian parents as their influence is dragging them wayward.
But she has clarified in a recent interview on Onua FM that she actually did not mean by her comments that Shatta Wale and Medikal are bad influences.
“I went to the interview.” Shatta Wale’s issue was a side issue, not a point of contention. I never said Shatta was a bad influence or anything to that effect. The name Medikal was not mentioned. The presenter inquired as to how I had managed to stay out of trouble all this time. And I responded accordingly,” she said.
