Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has shared a story of how he abandoned a musical project because he had suffered broken heart and was not in the perfect condition to release it.
According to Sarkodie in an interview with OnePlayAfrica, he worked on an album with legendary music producer Sugartone but he never released it after listening to it all over again.
Per Sarkodie’s narration, he poured his sorrow and grief into the music he did and didn’t realize he was repeating himself.
He mentioned that all the songs talked about his bad relationship with his ex-lover and to him, it never made sense why a story could be spread across all the songs on the album.
