Medikal was arrested on Thursday night by the police for brandishing a gun in a viral video he himself posted on social media. He was arraigned before the court for five days at the Ankaful Maximum Prison in the Central Region of Ghana.
He has reportedly been granted a ₵100,000 bail with one surety. Shortly after the award-winning rapper gained his freedom, albeit temporarily, his wife was spotted in the thick of affairs moving about briskly in the courtroom and heading towards where she could have access to him and perhaps give a big hug.

Prior to this, Makafui was equally sighted in a video asking journalists and bloggers to stop filming her husband who was seen in handcuffs and being swarmed by police officers after he was arrested for breaking the law.
The actress and former lead character in the YOLO TV series issued the emotional instruction after her husband was shoved into a waiting police pick-up truck shortly after he was remanded.
While the media personnel was filming the process, the actress popped up to instruct them to stop capturing everything on camera, saying Ɛyɛ, Ɛdiɛn in the Twi language. She then went close to the police car to speak to someone and then requested her duffle bag.
