Oct. 4 (UPI) — Rock ‘n’ roll icon Dave Grohl will be seen reading a bedtime story on the BBC children’s channel, CBeebies, Friday.

The former Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters founder will read aloud Octopus’s Garden, which is based on the lyrics of the famous Beatles song of the same name.

Beatles alum Ringo Starr wrote the book and Ben Cort illustrated it.

“As a proud father of three, I’ve always enjoyed reading stories to my children. It was a pleasure to read these stories for CBeebies,” Grohl said in a press release Monday.

CBeebies tweeted an announcement about the program and Foo Fighters retweeted it.

Other stars to read bedtime stories on the channel include Dolly Parton, Elton John, George Ezra, Alesha Dixon, Robbie Williams, Mark Ronson, Will Young, Richard Armitage, Tom Hardy, Felicity Jones, Regé-Jean Page, Tom Hiddleston, Orlando Bloom and Joanna Page.
