Sept. 30 (UPI) — Dylan Dreyer’s husband, Brian Fichera, is giving a glimpse of the couple’s newborn son.
Fichera shared a first photo of Dreyer with their baby boy, Russell James, Wednesday on Instagram.
The picture shows Dreyer, a weather anchor on Today, cradling a sleeping Russell to her chest as she smiles for the camera.
Dreyer gave birth to Russell, her third child with Fichera, on Wednesday after going into labor six weeks early.
“Guys this is our son Russell James Fichera. Rusty managed to expedite immense love and joy into the world 6 weeks earlier than expected,” Fichera captioned the post. “His mother, @dylandreyernbc already went beyond what I thought possible a human could do to safely bring him into this world.”
“I’m in awe and in love. Thank you for all of your well wishes and support. #love #numbathree #mythreesons #godylgo,” he added.
Today‘s Sheinelle Jones and Kristen Welker celebrated the birth in the comments.
“Yayyyyyyy!!!!!! Welcome to the #partyof5 club!!!!!” Jones wrote.
“He’s so beautiful!! Congratulations!!! Margot cannot wait to meet your family of 5! Love you guys,” Welker said.
Dreyer’s Today co-anchors announced Russell’s birth on the show Wednesday. Dreyer had shared a photo from the hospital Tuesday, telling fans her water broke six weeks early.
Dreyer and Fichera married in October 2012 and have two other sons, Calvin, 4, and Oliver, 20 months. Dreyer said on Today in January 2020 that Calvin and Oliver have an “incredible” bond.
