12 Rumble On Ace PowerWarriors Night

ACE Power Promotions has announced the staging of a 12-bout   at the La Palm Royal Beach in Accra on October 16.

It is dubbed, ‘The Warriors Night’ and expected to be headlined by two of Ghana’s undefeated boxers, Robert Quaye and Holy Dorgbetor.

The UBO International Championship will pit Super Lightweight boxer Robert ‘Stopper’ Quaye against a yet-to-be-announced opponent, while Featherweight Holy Dorgbetor would take on    Success Tetteh for the UBO Intercontinental Featherweight title.

Quaye  goes into the fight with an impressive record after a superlative  performance in his last fight in March when he stopped Kofi Ansah Raymond to improve his perfect career record to 19-0,16 KOs.

Dorgbetor on the other hand, overcame experienced Edward Kambasa in March to improve his record to 7-0, 5 KOs.

Also on the bill is a WBO Super Featherweight title between Joseph Oluwaseun and Anthony Moloisane.

Daniel Adufu will face Benjamin Ankrah in the Super Welterweight contest, while Ahmed Abdula would battle David Okine.

There would also be a Flyweight contest between Mohammed Nii Ayikwei Aryeetey and a yet-to-be announced opponent while Raphael King would face Emmanuel Allotey in a Welterweight contest.

Henry Malm would also fight Sani Yidana Kugblie in a Welterweight contest, Abdul Ali would face a yet-to-be confirmed opponent, whereas Emmanuel Baidoo would clash with Kofi Ansah Raymond in a Super Welterweight contest.

President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Abraham Kotey Neequaye, on Tuesday, commended Ace Promotions for the initiative that would provide the platform for young boxers to exhibit their talents.

“We welcome such initiatives that would give our boxers the platform to fight for glory and also improve their skills,” he stated.

General Manager at ACE Promotions, Isaac Amankwah said,

“We want to take the organisation of boxing in Ghana, West Africa and Africa to a whole new level and the upcoming fight night would showcase great entertainment and sports.”
