Big ups to the one who introduced betting into the soccer industry as it has been able to reduce unemployment to the barest minimum.
This is because, with just GH¢1, a lucky punter can win hundreds or thousands of cedis which cometh with no or less stress.
As a result, most young guys have even refused to work under the scorching sun in Ghana and Nigeria as betting has become their greatest source for their daily bread.
But from the look of this, this punter has not been lucky as one popular betting company is refusing to pay him per his age.
That is, the young man believed to be below the age of 18 has been denied 50,000 Naira (GH¢ 735) he won in sports betting after staking with Bet9ja.
According to the Bet9ja betting company, the boy is below 18 years, therefore, cannot cash out as he is below the age for betting.
The emotionally disturbed young boy in a self-made video was seen ranting whiles on his way home from the betting shop in Nigeria.
He threatened to deal with Bet9ja for refusing to give him the money he won. The most painful part of the incident is that the boy has been staking bet since 2019 and has never won until that fateful day.
