Jackline Acheampong known professionally as Gyakie, has been in the music industry for a short while yet is already considered as one of the best and most popular artistes in Ghana and even internationally.
Interviewed on YFM by host of the Dryve of Your Lyfe, Kojo Manuel, she shared what she is doing differently from other artistes that she believes is her guide to achieving so much success within this short while.
“We’re all doing what we can do so I’ll just thank God for the successes. I don’t know what I’m doing differently. Maybe what I’m doing is not different to me but it is different to other people but I feel every artiste is doing what they want to do at their pace”, she said.
Gyakie noted that there is no specific secret, however, she is working very hard, hence, she believes that God and her hard work, as well as the support from her team, is what generates all the successful hits.
After a year since her last music release, Gyakie just released a new single titled for her Gyakie Chans titled ‘Need me’. The song is currently out for streaming on all digital platforms and the video is also out on YouTube, currently sitting at 1.6million views only three weeks after release.
