South Africa head coach Hugo Broos has a fully fit squad ahead of their second 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ghana on Monday at Soccer City.

Percy Tau, who came off in the 0-0 draw with Zimbabwe on Friday is available for selection.

On the other hand, Ghana will be without the six players who have been recalled by their English, French and German clubs due to South Africa’s status as a red-list country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bafana Bafana are yet to pick three points after being held to a goalless draw by Zimbabwe last Friday.

“Maybe they [Ghana] will be a little weaker, but they still have very good players. Even when some players are not there, you are still a strong team,” Broos says.

“We are focused on building a team, but on the other side we want results. On Friday everybody wanted to win [in Zimbabwe], tomorrow will be the same. We will try to win and after the game I will see if I am satisfied or not.

“I will not be satisfied if I see a team that does not fight. The mentality on Friday was good, so I hope to see the same thing tomorrow.”
