Another accuser testified that R. Kelly allegedly kept a gun by his side while forcing her to have oral sex with him in a Los Angeles music studio.
During his trafficking trial in a New York federal court on Wednesday, the witness, who took the stand and was only identified as ‘Faith,’ testified about her alleged terrifying encounter with the singer when she was 19.
Faith, R Kelly’s sixth alleged victim, claims that during her fourth trip to see Kelly in 2018, he took her into a small room of a Los Angeles music studio and told her ‘don’t look at it.’
Kelly, 54, then began inquiring about her sexual history, asking her, “How many men have you seen naked?” and warned her that if she lied, ‘there would be a problem.’
The witness then testified that Kelly forced him to strip and have oral sex with him against his will.
‘He had a weapon, so I wasn’t going to step out of line,’ she explained, explaining why she performed the sexual act.
Kelly then told her, ‘he likes a woman who reminds him of a puppy, his daughter, or his mother,’ and added, ‘I still have a lot to teach you.’
She testified that the last time she saw Kelly, she resisted having sex with him in a New York City hotel suite. He allegedly responded by telling her, ‘I’m an f—ing legend,’ and threatening her not to defy him.
She announced the end of her year-long relationship shortly after the latest incident.
Kelly, who denies all charges, was visibly uncomfortable, shaking his head and touching his face when Faith described resisting sex with him, according to the New York Times.
He also reacted visibly when she testified that Kelly masturbated while watching a video he had made of various women, which he told her he was ‘raising’ by putting his head down and rubbing his head, according to the Times.
Kelly’s alleged intimidation tactics were all part of an abusive sexual relationship that began when the woman was 19 and resulted in her contracting herpes from him, according to her.
