He took to Twitter to make this pronouncement and for those who know the controversial Dancehall/Reggae act very well, you could easily tell he’s pulling up his old tricks designed to get him the needed attention ahead of the release of GOG album.

Shatta Wale wrote; “I have to go to big brother after I release my #GOGALBUM.”

Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which, contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted.

A few days ago, Dancehall act Jupitar claimed that Shatta Wale’s fanbase in Jamaica and appeal is second to none when it comes to which Ghanaian artist is making inroads in their industry.

While in the studios of Okay FM, the Dancehall General said his own investigation has revealed that Shatta Wale has a wider audience and is more popular than any Ghanaian artiste, including his main rival Stonebwoy.

He said Stonebwoy is also a household name in the country which birthed Reggae/Dancehall music that they (Jupitar, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale specialize in) but relatively, he’s not close to the SM boss.

His statement puzzled ace broadcaster Abeiku Santana who asked him if he was sure of his assessment.
