Ghanaian playwriter, author and motivational speaker Uncle Ebo Whyte has delved into the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the old folks in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

According to the renowned playwriter, the coronavirus pandemic affected the entertainment industry so badly especially people like him and his crew and other colleagues who are into theater or stage performance.

He said the pandemic forced his generation in the creative art industry to live the future now and to gets more creative in the modernized way possible to get them going or keep up with the new generation of creative arts personalities.

Uncle Ebo Whyte in an exclusive interview with renowned Multimedia on-air personality and disc jockey Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show aired on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM stated although the pandemic seems to have halt most of the activities in the creative arts industry, it also in a way brought out some positive impact.

He continued that the coronavirus pandemic thought him a lesson of going digital with his works as soon as possible, something he had thought of doing for a long time but hasn’t gotten the chance to do since he was so focused on the stage stuff.

The Roverman Productions boss said he was forced to open an Instagram account and going ‘Live’ on social media more often just to update his fans and the public of his new projects and possibly, the dates he will be hosting his shows.
