Entertainment Pundit, Nana Frimpong Ziega has asserted that the young Kumerican rapper, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, well known as Yaw Tog may go beyond Sarkodie if he is properly managed.

Ever since he emerged into the scene, Yaw Tog who has one of the most popular songs in the music scene has been constantly compared to some of the senior rappers in the scene.
It has been barely a year since he emerged into the scene and Yaw Tog has been able to break global boundaries, something most artists are struggling with.
It is at the back of this that Nana Frimpong Ziega is saying that there is nothing wrong in comparing the young rapper to Sarkodie because he has what it takes to go beyond him only if he is being managed properly.
He made his submission known during an interview on Kumasi-based Angle Entertainment show by saying that Yaw Tog might not be enjoying the exposure Sarkodie is having now but when he gets to his age, he might go beyond his level provided he is managed properly.
“Where Sarkodie is now, Yaw Tog has not been there… all the glitz and glamour, the platforms Sarkodie has enjoyed, Yaw Tog is yet to get those opportunities but yet people are comparing Yaw Tog to Sarkodie. It is because is where Yaw Tog is heading in the music industry”, he said.
“It is likely that if Yaw Tog gets to the age of Sarkodie and if he is being managed well, he will go beyond the level of Sarkodie because of what he (Yaw Tog) is doing as a new artiste”, he added.
“Those comparisons Yaw Tog to Sarkodie have done no mistake because they are not talking about awards and who is big but they are talking about music and musically Yaw Tog is better than Sarkodie”, he noted.
Ziega also noted that Yaw Tog’s talent is extraordinary to that of Sarkodie because Yaw Tog is able to compose his own chorus but Sarkodie cannot do same, thus Yaw Tog is musically better than Sarkodie.
“When it comes to clarity and rap, Sarkodie is the best and ahead of Yaw Tog but Sarkodie raps and Yaw also Tog raps, Yaw Tog sings but Sarkodie does not sing. Yaw Tog creates harmony and his own chorus but Sarkodie does not create harmony and his own chorus” Nana Frimpong Ziega stated.
