Fast rising star Gyakie is the cover girl for urban lifestyle DSTNGR Magazine for Autumn 2021.
DSTNGR is a music, fashion and culture movement based out of London, United Kingdom. The Ghanaian singer in the magazine talked about her new single ‘Need Me’ and showbiz on a broader spectrum.
“The song is about someone who’s always available and on standby for the person they love. “It’s a song that will make you fall in love and after the year of being in a global pandemic, I think the world needs beauty and love,” she said.
Gyakie released her first single; “Love is Pretty” in February 2019 and preceded to release, “Never Like This.” She released a five-track EP, titled Seed in August 2020.
The “Forever” track on the Seed EP enjoyed airplay in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. It topped music charts such as Billboard’s Top Triller Global and Shazams Top 200 charts.
Gyakie released a remix of “Forever” with Nigerian singer Omah Lay in March 2021.
Away from, www.Ghgossip.com earlier reported that the relationship between Shemima and Ali has ended in tatters and the latter has just confirmed it in an emotional video she shared on her timeline on IG.
Shemima is even more distraught that she rejected numerous suitors all because of Ali but he rather turned the tables on her by cheating on her with numerous girls.
She stated, “Guys, I hope everyone is doing good, it has finally ended in tears and I cannot hold my tears anymore. I have been crying all day but I just have to cope and be ok. The most painful thing about this is, you going on national television to look for love and it finally ends in tears.” She added;
“The whole world and everyone know that Shemima and Ali are dating, things are serious between them and they are cool. You know, I can’t hold my tears and I think I have to cope with whatever is going on. I’m really sad but I have to move on with my life. People have been approaching me and because we were dating I’m avoiding everyone around me and it’s very sad to hear this final”.
“It’s very very sad, I can’t hold my tears anymore and I just have to let everyone know that there is nothing going on between me and Ali, it’s over, and seriously I have regretted going on date rush. I Mima, Shemima I have regretted going to date rush. I have regretted and I know a lot of people saying when you go on a date rush it will finally end in tears, yes, mine has finally ended in tears.”
