Mental Health Advocate, Abena Korkor has launched fresh attacks on Media General, saying they violated her human rights and for that they will pay dearly for it.

As a reminder, Abena Korkor used to be a presenter of a show on TV3 but got fired by the management after she posted some nude videos of herself on her IG page.
Ever since then, Abena Korkor has been trending in the news for many reasons of which one includes her outburst on how some media personalities banged her and abused her mental health.
Revisiting the termination of her contract, Abena Korkor describes the actions of the management was a violation of her human rights and for that, the media house will pay dearly for it.
She said her contract termination was borne out of discrimination against her because of her bipolar disorder.
“Stop stigmatising and let’s support persons living with mental health problems. I never knew what exactly made TV3 discontinue my contract. I was discriminated against because I live with bipolar disorder,” she said in the now-deleted Instagram post.
She added that Media General will pay for it if they don’t make corrections, and that TV3 has the potential to be the next CNN or BBC, but its management is stuck in the past.
“So many times companies act under the pretence the support human rights. TV3 violated my human rights. They will pay for it if they don’t make corrections. They will pay for it dearly. Amongst all the channels in Ghana, they have the potential of becoming like CNN or BBC but core management has hypocrites and backwards thinking people,” she said.
However, we are yet to see the reaction of the media house to these allegations leveled against them by their former employee.
