Ghanaians were thrown in a state of shock after a heartbreaking video showing ace music producer and sound engineer, Sugar Tone looking very broke in a drunken state as he lied on the floor.
It is alleged that Sugar Tone’s present condition is as result of the illicit drugs he has been taking for some time now and apparently his absence from the music scene in the last few years has been partly because of his addiction to drugs.
A throwback video of him confessing that he is an addicted chain smoker has resurfaced on the internet.
Speaking to media personality, Arnold Mensah Elavarnyo on his Vibesin5 show which was conducted about 6 years ago, Sugar Tone admitted that he smokes a lot and he will not lie about it.
According to the veteran music producer, one of the things he does to release stress is smoking and unarguably it is clear he smokes marijuana or weed as the viral video of him not being able to talk properly after being intoxicated and high on the substance confirms it.
Sugar Tone is well known for producing Shatta Wale’s (then Bandana) earlier records including all songs which made it to his debut Mokoho album. He is also credited for producing some hit songs for the late Daasebre Gyamenah.
