Ghanaian sensational rapper and winner of the 2018 Vodafone Icons ‘Rep Your Hood’ edition has revealed the reason why he left the management the reality show handed him over to.

According to Bogo Blay, the management the reality show handed him to could manage him well and even tried to change his brand.

Bogo Blay, born Bogo Blay Labran David emerged as the winner of the 2018 Vodafone Icons ‘Rep Your Hood’ edition with his ‘Fulani’ ascent and his rap style which won the hearts of many Ghanaians and fans of the program.

He said the management after misusing the Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (100,000 Ghana Cedis) cash prize given to them by the telecommunication network had the intention of changing his brand and his style of dressing of which he was not ready to let it go.

The ‘Medicine’ crooner revealed that the management was given 65% of the cash prize according to the contract he signed with the telecommunication network on winning the reality show to be used to manage him but they spent all the money without pushing his craft.

In an exclusive interview this morning on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM with Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show, Bogo Blay stated he had to leave the management because he felt they were not doing enough in pushing his songs.
