Controversial entertainment pundit and artiste manager Mr. Logic has advised Ghanaian rapper and business mogul Desmond Blackmore popularly known as D-Black to stop signing many artists all because he has a recording studio.

According to Mr. Logic, D-Black is just signing many artists as much as he wants because he feels he has a nice recording studio for his record label without thinking of how to improve the talents of his artists.
He said over the years, some big artists like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, D-Black, and among others who have had the privilege of signing other musicians to their record labels have mostly failed these up and coming musicians because of their interest as well.
He stated it’s very difficult to manage and run the affairs of many musicians who are under your record label while you yourself is also an artist pushing your work to the world.
The president of the Songwriters Association of Ghana speaking on Hitz FM’s ‘Day Break Hitz’ with the host, Andy Dosty revealed he believes this is the reason why most of the artists under the Black Avenue Muzik like Freda Rhymz and Kobla Jnr left the label just after a year after signing their contracts.
He said the business mogul’s decision of signing many artists under the record label at the same time cost him to lose some great artists like Freda Rhymz and Kobla Jnr etc. Mr. Logic advised D-Black to follow the steps of Richie Mensah by retiring from music and just run his record label.
