He explained that as a citizen of Ghana, he has the right to go into hiding wherever and whenever it pleases him as the State respects the citizen’s right to privacy. So Castro has not broken any law per the Constitution should he return.

He added that the only problem the disappeared Castro or Janet Bandu will face is when one of them returns without the other. But with that, the State needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that indeed, they both disappeared together.

Lawyer Alidu speaking with Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM stated the Ghanaian Hiplife singer/ rapper if still alive can choose to make his return anytime that he wants and the State can’t charge him for that.

Lawyer Alidu had earlier stated that the families of both Castro and Janet Bandu need to prove to the State authorities that they have been in touch with the disappeared individuals as that’s the only way the State will halt the intentions of declaring them dead.

Castro and Janet Bandu went missing on June 6th, 2014 when they went for a jet ski ride on the Volta River and never return. It’s being seven years since the incident happened at Ada but the families of both personalities still believe they will one day return home.
