Ghanaian musician KiDi is at the mercy of fans following the gargantuan fee he is charging for a ticket to his show, Live With KiDi.
The “Live With KiDi” show is a concert the “Say Cheese” hitmaker is putting together to welcome and spend quality time with his fans as he serenades them with his music.
However, the highlight of the entire concert which is scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the CoCo Vanilla at East Legon is what fans describe as the exorbitant ticket price.
The least expensive table for KiDi’s “Live With KiDi” concert is going for a whopping GH¢3,000 and the most expensive table is going out for Gh¢15,000. Of course, each table comes with special drinks and bites.
Fans believe KiDi is charging too much for his show especially when he knows very well that his fans are not in the position to afford the tickets to the show.
While KiDi is unperturbed with the agitations from fans over the ticket price because perhaps he knows his target fans and people who will come at all cost, fans are beginning to drag him.
For many, they do not understand how someone who claimed to have struggled and eventually made a name from himself as far as music in Ghana is concerned will start charging such a fee for his shows.
Some of these fans have dived into the archives of KiDi and brought out some throwback photos of the musician…they are using these photos to send a clear and obvious message to KiDi to reconsider the pricing and remember where he was before now.
These fans believe KiDi needs to be humbled by his past and as a result, reduce the price for the ticket to his show drastically to make it for the ordinary fans to afford and attend.
