When Ghanaian musician Castro went missing while cruising with his girlfriend Janet Bandu on the Ada Estuary in 2014, Ghanaians were thrown into a state of shock.

The shock stemmed from the fact that Castro was at the peak of his career and his songs were making waves at the time. The controversies and conspiracy theories surrounding “his death” were many.

After seven years of waiting for the eventual arrival of Castro, the musician will be declared dead together with his girlfriend according to the constitution of Ghana.

Even before today, some people have hoped and expressed optimism that Castro had not died. Some even had said they have seen Castro somewhere and will surely make a grand appearance someday.

The sceptics believe since the sea was not able to wash their bodies ashore, it clearly means either Castro has disappeared with his girlfriend into space or they have been devoured by a wild animal.

Jesus Ahoufe is a Ghanaian pastor who has cautioned the family not to declare Castro dead because he will return after spending  30 years in the underworld.

Speaking on Accra FM, the pastor said Castro is not dead and will surely return someday with his girlfriend. According to him,  Castro will look unrecognizable with a thick beard when he finally returns.
