Speaking with A beiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, Kofi Jamar revealed that he used to carry corpses for burials and also serves meals at funerals for survival.

According to the rapper who described his hustling days as a very challenging one, he was determined to do anything to survive since that was his only source of income.

When asked if he never feared while carrying corpses around for survival, the “Ekorso” hitmaker said “it was a contract so when it comes that there is a funeral that we need to work on, we will be in charge of everything that is carrying the corpse to the grave and also serving meals at the funeral and I had to do it because I have to”.

However, Kofi Jamar said that he believed that no condition is permanent so he knew he wouldn’t do it forever, and surely, his life turned around, adding that there have been major changes in his life afterward.

“I believe God made me go through that process to show others that whatever they are going through, they wouldn’t go through them forever. When I was going through all those procedures, I knew that wasn’t where I was supposed to be and all those people who knew me before will believe that in life anything can happen”, he noted.

Meanwhile, Kofi Jamar has managed to secure some nominations in the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Awards.
