Three para-table tennis stars seek qualification for Paralympics in Slovania |

The Nigerian players and a coach have departed the country for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games qualifiers holding in Slovenia. The trio, Faith Obiorah, Francis Chukwuemeka and Nasiru Sule left aboard a Turkish Airline flight alongside

Coach Sunday Odebode for the championship, which began yesterday and will end on June 6. It is the last stage of the Paralympic Games qualifiers.

Chairman of the Para-Table Tennis division, Anderson Bankole, a Commissioner of Police, said in Lagos yesterday that he was optimistic that the athletes would excel in Slovania by picking more Tokyo 2020 Paralympics tickets for the country.

Six Nigerian para-table tennis have already qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. They are Tajudeen Agunbiade, Femi Talabi, Koleosho Ahmed, Ogunkunle Isau, Faith Obazuaye and Victor Farinloye.
