Chealse players, after winning the UEFA Champions League have collectively received a whopping amount of £10 million [approx. $14 million or GH¢81 million] in bonus.

Chelsea won their second Champions League on May 29, 2021, by beating star-studded Manchester City by a lone goal from Kai Havertz.

Due to their commendable and incredible run to winning the title, it is been reported by Sun Sports, that the Chesla team will receive $140 million in bonus.

The publication revealed the bonus was agreed at the start of the season when nobody gave the Stamford Bridge dwellers any hope of winning the coveted silverware. 

It is understood Thomas Tuchel’s wards had already earned a tasty $7 million wind after getting past Madrid earlier in the month, before adding a similar amount to their pockets for stunning Man City. 

Aside from all that, Cheleas as a football club will $30 million for winning the Champions League title while seconbd runner-up Mancherter City will be compensated with $23 million. Kai Havertz is expected to pocket addtional $2 million for scoring the goal that ensured that Chelsea emerged victorious.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has also promised an undisclosed money and goodies for each memeber of the team including the techincal staff for their hard work.
