Promising Ghanaian rapper, Amerado Burna has expressed his displeasure in the negativity which has currently taken over the entertainment industry in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on the Best Entertainment show on Okay FM, the fast-rising star said that it is about time Ghanaians channel their energies to promote positivity in the industry rather than entertaining negativity.

He lamented that Ghanaians mostly wait for artists to commit errors in their career in order for them to troll him/her but will feel reluctant in promoting their craft.

Amerado said that mostly the A-list artists are made up of the likes of Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie which to him is unacceptable because Nigerians channel their energies to promote their musicians, thus their talents always dominate headlines with their crafts.

He said that when it comes to international award schemes, Nigerian musicians always dominate the list but the number of Ghanaian musicians mostly found in the same lists is few.

He further stated that social media trends have blinded the eyes of Ghanaians making it impossible for them to recognize the talent the country has but are always eager to promote negative trends. He also blamed the media for also participating in these negative trends.

According to him, if the media and Ghanaians on social media focus on upcoming talents as well, Ghanaians can also dominate the international market and gain recognition.
