The #FixTheCountry Campaign has trended on social media for some time now and seems not to be coming to an end anytime soon. The protestors are calling on the government to attend to the problems the country is facing with immediate effect.

Some Ghanaian celebrities have joined the crusade as others have opposed it, lambasting the protestors for accusing the government of incompetence.

Well, Sista Afia has also joined the campaign by saying that it should have been brought up before the 2020 General elections commenced.

According to her, if the movement had begun sooner, the new batch of our politicians would have buckled up and given us their all.

In a tweet, she wrote, I think we should’ve brought up #FixTheCountryNow before the elections dammmm.

Meanwhile, controversial politician, Kennedy Agyapong has said that the #FixTheCountry campaign is being championed by cheap slay queens in Ghana.

According to him,  gone are the days where members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) spend unnecessarily on these slay queens unlike that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who would rather invest their money and not spend on them.

Speaking in an interview on his TV station Net2 TV, the maverick politician said; “The fix yourself campaign is been led by slay queens who say the men in the NPP don’t pay. Why should I pay such monies to you? Whilst, I’m sitting here I’ve a lot on my mind I want to do so why will I waste my money on you? They are even cheap too, they sit in planes and display their Gucci bags.”
