The finalists in the “Thank You Mama” promotion organised by Citi FM/Citi TV have received their hampers.
The finalists were children who told the most compelling stories in the promotion,q which called for letters of not more than 100 words stating why their mothers deserved to be celebrated.
The winner of the promotion was Ephraim Ayite, with Peniel Adu-Amankwah emerging second in the contest while Priscilla Menson came third.
The two other finalists were Mary Baiden and Ernestina Ofeibea Quarcoo.
The top three will also receive extra prizes, with the overall winner getting an all-expense-paid weekend stay for his mother at Royal Senchi and Spa Treatment.
The first runner-up will get an All-expense-paid weekend stay for Mama at The Peninsula Resort.
The second runner-up will get lunch for four at an exclusive restaurant or hotel.
The contest attracted many entries from listeners.
After more than a week of receiving entries, the top 20 participants were selected. The list was subsequently whittled down to ten.
Five finalists were then selected and sieved to the top three winners.
