Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Kofi Jamar has narrated an emotional story about his hustle to the top and how he used to work as a pallbearer to fend for himself.

According to him, his first paying job demanded him to work as a pallbearer. He carried, dressed and transported dead people and got paid for his services.

Opening up about how he had to work in several industries in his rise to the top, Kofi Jamar said his begging was tough and because he was had no better options, he had to embrace whatever life offered him.

Speaking to Delay in an exclusive interview, Kofi Jamar said after working as a pallbearer for some time, he moved on to work as security personnel for two hotels in Kumasi.

“I moved on to work as security personnel for a year and a half and I worked with two hotels at the same time: Golden Tulip and Golden Bean all in Kumasi,” he said.

Kofi Jamar is one of the finest new faces of Ghanaian rap music. His hit song “Ekorso” is doing well on major music streaming platforms and his appeal is beginning to resonate with many music-loving fans.

But what you need to remember is, Kofi Jamar has really gone through the mill but his personal determination to succeed coupled with his distinct talent has brought him thus far.
