It could be recalled that the actress was found guilty and subsequently convicted. She was supposed to spend a whopping 90 days in prison.
This comes after she shared a photo of herself and her son during the 7th birthday of her son which sparked controversy in the public domain.
The photo was an awkward one as it was good for public consumption. After the ruling, her lawyer showed that he is an expert as he did all he could to ensure the actress was granted bail.
Fortunately, the Accra High court granted bail to Akuapem Poloo, however, she was slapped with a GH80,000 bail amount with two sureties. Akuapem Poloo has been restricted by the court. She has been commanded to drop her traveling passport in court and has been warned not to leave the country without the permission of the court. She has also been asked to report to the case investigator every two weeks.
It is because of this that she is grateful to her lawyer. Making an appreciation post, she shared a photo of herself and the lawyer and added the caption;
“I can’t stop thanking him My God sent Lawyer Andrew vortia God bless you for all your support it is well we shall see the light at the end of the tunnel 🙏💡”
