Kelvyn Boy, Akwaboah, and Fameye are three of the mainstream artists in Ghana whose verse on a song can guarantee a massive hit song.

It’s apparent their charging fees for a feature are equally exorbitant finely tuned to be in consonance with their pedigree and this is something that has been reinforced by UK-based Ghanaian songstress Lady Sledge.
According to her, the aforementioned artistes charged her exorbitantly when she sought their services individually for a feature on her song Obi Ba. Lady Sledge insisted that the high charges couldn’t make her dream collaboration materialized in an interview with Sammy Flex on Flex TV.
She stated that Kelvin Boy charged her 10k, Fameye also mentioned 12k and Akwaboah mentioned 15k. According to her, her budget was still not up to their level so she couldn’t work with them.
“I wanted to feature Akwaboah, Fameye, and Kelvyn Boy on my new single “Obi Ba” but I couldn’t because of their huge charges so I featured the engineer who did the beat, “Jodevans” she revealed.
