The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele has drawn the irk of a lot of Nigerians on social media over his stance that cryptocurrency has no place in Nigeria.
Recall that when the apex bank boss appeared before the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, he stated that the ban on cryptocurrency trading was done in the best interests of Nigerians.

He noted that the issuance of cryptocurrencies by unregulated and unlicensed entities is contrary to the mandate of the CBN.
Reacting to the viral video of the hearing on Thursday morning, Nigerians on social media have slammed the apex bank boss.
