Experienced Ghanaian musician Guru NKZ is pointing out some important issues in the local music industry which Kuami Eugene needs to take notice of if he really wants to be around for long.
According to Guru who has been doing this music thingy for 13 years, Kuami Eugene needs to understand that Ghana’s music industry is a hard one…which connotes that the higher and widespread your fame, the shorter and fleeting is your relevance.
This honest opinion form the “Lapaz Toyota” hitmaker comes on the back of report indicating that Kuamu Eugene has refused to collaborate on a song with Guru because he feels his manager Richie Mensah was disrespected.
This, Guru believes is a good sign of a promising artist who is poised to defend his manager and ensure that the right thing is done. However, Guru believes Kuami Eugene should be thinking of staying relevant for long because there will be “new lords.”
Also, per the analogy of Guru, the “Open Gate” hitmaker will not be with Lynx Entertainment Record Label forever thus what lies ahead of him is huge. Therefore, just like many artists who have come and gone, Kuami Eugene should be thinking of humbling himself and staying relevant as long as he could.

Dear Kuami Eugene,
I admire your hardwork and how well you have come. I am already in my 13th years in this industry and i have been able to give back to back hits. I made sure I had not less than 4 hits songs every year and in 2014 i gave 10 MEGA hits in one calendar year, I dont know how old you were at that time though. The industry is in difficult times which we need to join hands to change or continue with the mistakes our predecessors made. Remember some people started with me but they could not last long so I appreciate how far God has brought me.I know that you will not be under Lynx Entertainment forever but remember not to have any issue with Lynx Entertainment before you leave because those that exited couldn’t maintain the hype.There are always new Lords so remember nothing last forever. Point of correction I never begged for a Collaboration. I didnt ask for Collaboration because I wanted a hit song, I have alot of hit songs and im proud of that. I wanted you to know i appreciate your craft does why i wanted us to work together and nothing more. I wish you well. Thank You
