Shatta Wale has thrown some shades at fellow dancehall artiste Sonebwoy over the 1Don-1Gad debate which has overtaken social media.
This debate came as a result of two tracks released by these artistes which had the titles 1Don for Shatta Wale and 1Gad for Stonebwoy.
Fans have quickly deciphered that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are trying to claim supremacy for who actually is the boss of the Dancehall music genre in Ghana. The number (1) which precedes the titles of the songs is the basis for competition.
Many believe Shatta Wale’s 1Don track is miles ahead of Stonebwoy’s 1Gad track in terms of quality of lyrics, vibe and how it resonates with Ghanaians.
The debate is on but Shatta Wale has subtly claimed supremacy and beats his chest with the affirmation that his track is better and the damage the 1Gad track was meant to do has backfired.
