18 June 2011 Luanda — The country's production levels of about 30 literary works are still low and insufficient to meet people's demand, said Saturday in Luanda, the assistant secretary general of Youth Brigade of Angolan Literature (BJLA), John Bella. Speaking to Angop on production of books in Angola, the writer said that the country's publishing houses need to work hard with a view to meet the demand of more than 16 million inhabitants.

Luanda — Angolan writer Kanguimbo Ananás urged Saturday for more incentive and financial assistance for development of child book in the country.

Kanguinbo Ananás said that the infant literary market needs incentive in order to change the current scenario recorded in the literary field.

With additional incentives, more people will be interested in writing for children, taking into account the importance of the infant works in children lives, underlined the writer.
