Police have taken away Charlie Sheen’s children over worries that the star’s behaviour was becoming increasingly erratic and could put the twin boys in danger.
Officers arrived at his Beverly Hills mansion last night to take Bob and Max, who are 23-months-old, and apparently to return them to their mother, Sheen’s ex, Brooke Mueller, 33.
When asked how he felt as his children were taken from him by U.S. website, Radaronline, the 45-year-old Two And A Half Men star said bizarrely: ‘ My fangs are dripping tiger blood.’

Custody battle: Charlie Sheen, seen here with his two girlfriends Bree Olsen and Natalie Kenly, has had his sons Max and Bob taken away from him by police
However, this morning, on his brand new Twitter account, the actor was full of fighting talk, saying: ‘My sons’ are fine… My path is now clear… Defeat is not an option..!’
The move came after his ex wife Brooke Mueller won a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier yesterday over allegations that Sheen had been physically and verbally abusive to her.
In court papers, Mueller stated: ‘I am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane. I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children’s safety while in his care.’
The court temporarily removed custody of the boys from Sheen and banned him from communicating with Mueller or getting within 100 yards of her or the children.
Mueller alleges that Sheen took their twins, Bob and Max, 23 months, from her residence without her permission on 26 February and had since stopped her from seeing them.
When she tried to get the twins back, Sheen allegedly threatened her saying: ‘I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom’ she claimed.
‘It’s a polygamy story’: The actor kissed former
nanny and model Natalie Kenly and porn star Bree Olsen (real name
Rachel Oberlin) in front of the cameras – and his sons
Mueller also alleged that while on a bizarre polyamorous holiday to the Bahamas last week with his two girlfriends, Sheen launched into a tirade against her in which he punched her on the arm and spat on her feet.
She claims in court documents that he ‘threatened to stab my eye with a pen knife’.
A hearing is set for March 22 to determine whether to extend the restraining order. Both Sheen and Mueller are required to attend.
Pumped: In another TV interview, last night Charlie Sheen let cameras from U.S. news show 20/20 follow what he claims is his daily 5.30am workout
Ripped: The actor showed off his abs and seemed proud of them but his body seemed more emaciated than muscular
Missing the mark: The star attempts to wash his face in water but hits himself in the eye with a water bottle
When asked contacted by U.S. magazine People if he planned to fight for custody of his sons, Sheen replied with a text message that read: ‘Born ready. Winning.’
Until recently relations between the ex-wife and her former husband had appeared cordial but now the gloves are off and Mueller is seeking full custody.
Mueller, who herself has been in and out of rehab on several occasions, moved into Sheen’s
LA mansion with her sons last week and then joined the actor and his two
girlfriends – porn star Bree Olsen (real name Rachel Oberlin) and nanny and model Natalie Kenly – on a trip to the Bahamas.
However, she left the holiday early after an argument in which she is now claiming Sheen attacked her.
Menage a quatre: Sheen’s ex Brooke Mueller, pictured second left, joined him on his trip tot he Bahamas with his girlfriends Bree Olson (l) and Natalie Kenly (r) – but soon fled
Sheen said at the time: ‘There was a huge firestorm about Brooke being part of our crew but where there were four, there are now three. Goodbye, Brooke, and good luck in your travels. You’re going to need it. Badly.’
His interview with ABC’s Andrea Canning – in which he
talked about his two girlfriends helping to raise his sons – is thought
to have further put relations with Mueller under strain.
At one point during the interview Sheen was filmed kissing both his girlfriends in front of the children.
Sheen also tweeted a picture of himself with Olson.
Under his Twitter biography, he described himself as an ‘unemployed winner’.
While few would consider Sheen a model father, he is said to be concerned about Mueller’s parenting skills and her sobriety.
‘Charlie believes Brooke, at present,
is not in a position to care for the children with the love and
attention they need,’ a source tells Radar Online.
‘He has consulted with a lawyer about what move he can take next.’
In an interview with Piers Morgan on his CNN show last night however, Sheen boasted that he had ‘out-partied’ Mick Jagger, Errol Flynn, Keith Richards and Frank Sinatra.
He told Morgan: ‘You should see how I party – it was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger and Ricahrds looke like droopy-eyed, armless children.’
Sheen and Mueller split in 2009 after he threatened her with a knife on Christmas Day and they filed their final divorce papers on February 10 this year. The divorce is expected to be finalised on May 2.
Their boys have been with Sheen since he return to Los Angeles on Friday and ABC television cameras filmed
him at home with the toddlers his two girlfriends.

He opened up about
his bizarre life with the two young blondes he calls the ‘goddesses’ as
he continued his round of the talk-show circuit.
the at-home interview with Canning, Sheen described his domestic arrangement as a ‘polygamy story’.
The father-of-five said his life makes Hugh Hefner look like ‘an amateur’.
‘Maybe the three of us will get married.
I don’t know,’ Sheen said, apparently in jest.
But it made the terms of his love life very clear.
‘I’m gonna say this. It’s a polygamy story,’ he said.
‘All my guy friends are gonna like throw tomatoes at me. It’s like an
organic union of the hearts.’
He said: ‘Together, it’s like, it’s on. Sorry, middle America. Yeah, I said it.’
Olson chimed in too, saying:
‘Natty and Charlie have their own special connection. I have my own
connection with Charlie, and then Natty and I also have our own
Sheen says the arrangement allows him to avoid ‘all the small talk and nonsense’ by ‘paying for something that eliminates that.’
He did not expand on the financial arrangements he has with the women.
‘They don’t judge me,’ he says of his girlfriends.
don’t lead with opinion, they don’t lead with their own needs all the
time. They are honest enough to tell me, “Hey, park your nonsense. You have to help me solve this”. And we solve it’, he shared.
He said he is unconcerned if his behaviour makes fans uncomfortable.
‘That’s how I roll. And if it’s too gnarly for people, then buh-bye.’
Sheen, who refers to his home as ‘Sober Valley Lodge’, said he considers his girlfriends to be mother figures to them both.
‘All you can do with children is love them,’ Kenly says.
On Daddy duty: Sheen and Natalie Kenly hug his twins Bob and Max; he said he wants to buy houses in his gated community for his ex-wives so that all his children can grow up together
‘When we’re her at his house, we’re
all just talking and laughing and watching movies,’ Olson adds.
‘There’s not any parties going on.’
‘We run errands, we eat, we play with the kids, we watch movies, I watch a lot of Two And A Half Men’, she continues.
The actor said: ‘Everybody helps out. There is nothing broken here’.
Sheen also has two young daughters who are in the care of his other ex, Denise Richards.
When asked today by radio shock jock Howard Stern about why he prefers the company of prostitutes and porn stars, he said: ‘I don’t know, that’s a whole other segment.’
‘We form a group called the wedge … these women are fabulous – they’re absolutely beautiful.’
Sheen continued: ‘It’s not just about sex, they’re helping out on every other front.’
When Stern said that he lived like ‘a king’, Sheen exclaimed: ‘And why shouldn’t I Howard?’
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Television
agreed yesterday to pay the crew of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for half of the
eight episodes of TV’s top-rated comedy that were cancelled by
producers upset about Sheen’s off-screen antics.
The troubled star called the agreement a ‘start’ in his escalating battle against the show’s producers.
Down time: Charlie says he has been spending time playing baseball and working out but is eager to get back to work
‘Clearly my efforts are paying off,’
Sheen said in a phone interview with The Associated Press. ‘I won’t
sleep until I get all eight.’
Warner Bros. last week cancelled the
remaining episodes of this season of ‘Men,’ citing Sheen’s public
behaviour and negative comments about executive producer Chuck Lorre.
The troubled actor dominated the
entertainment media Monday with threats of a lawsuit, two riveting
morning show interviews and a rambling live stream on an Internet
By midday, his veteran publicist had quit.
In Sheen’s interviews with ABC’s Good
Morning America and NBC’s Today show, he boasted about his ‘epic’
partying, said he’s fuelled by ‘violent hatred’ of his bosses, claimed
to have kicked drugs at home in his ‘Sober Valley Lodge’ and demanded $3
million an episode to return to work.
Come evening, he popped up on CNN’s
Piers Morgan Tonight in a live appearance – airing opposite ‘Men’ in
some time zones – and waffled on whether he was serious about that pay
‘I was joking about being underpaid.
But to come back for Season 10,’ he added, looking beyond his current
two-year contract, ‘that’s all negotiable. You can’t talk about this
stuff on television.’
He also again criticised Alcoholics Anonymous, saying: ‘[In AA ] you gotta sit in a room and be all lame. I’m a winner and they look like losers.’
Voluntary testing: Sheen gives blood to a doctor for drug testing under the watchful eyes of the media, who he invited into his home to record the moment
Those expecting Sheen to go silent at
some point will likely be disappointed. Cameras crews were seen
throughout the afternoon entering the gated community where Sheen lives.
Warner Bros. spokesman Paul McGuire
confirmed the crew payments but denied that Sheen’s war of words against
the studio and series producers prompted the move. ‘False,’ McGuire
said of Sheen’s claim of credit.
Sheen said he’s not concerned with
his own sizable paychecks at the moment, which are reportedly worth $1.8
million per episode. ‘I don’t care about me right now,’ he told the said.
Asked about reimbursements for fellow series actors Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, Sheen said, ‘They’re next.’
Sheen’s duelling interview with morning news shows managed to upstage the post-show buzz for the Oscars.
However, what may be amusement for
fans is serious business in Hollywood. There’s a strong likelihood that
‘Two and a Half Men’ will never be back, putting fellow cast and crew
members out of work and costing producers Warner Bros. Television tens
of millions of dollars.
‘I’m supposed to be out there all
humble and asking for my job,’ Sheen said during an interview at his
home with Mike Walters that was streamed live on TMZ.com. ‘No, I don’t
do that. I don’t understand what I did wrong except live a life that
everyone is jealous of.’
Under scrutiny: Sheen hands over a urine sample to a doctor
Sheen’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield,
resigned shortly after the TMZ interview. Rosenfield has been with Sheen
through three hospitalizations in three months related to the star’s
In the interview, Sheen implied that
Rosenfield had lied to the media by saying he had been hospitalized for
an allergic reaction after trashing a room in New York’s Plaza Hotel.
‘I have worked with Charlie Sheen for
a long time and I care about him very much,’ Rosenfield said in a
statement. ‘However, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his
publicist and have respectfully resigned.’
In response to the resignation, Sheen said: ‘He’s not allowed to quit, so you’re fired.’
Both the ABC and NBC morning shows
carried excerpts of Sheen interviews conducted over the weekend, and
promised more on Tuesday. ABC aired the interview excerpts before even
wrapping up the Academy Awards results.
The New York Post’s front page blared: ‘Sue & a Half Men,’ with Oscar coverage a mere side of the page.
In his home: Sheen is surrounded by members of the media as he undergoes the drug testing
Sheen told NBC interviewer Jeff
Rossen that he’s spent years trying to be the ‘nice guy’ on his show and
get along with everybody, and now that’s over.
‘I’m tired of pretending I’m not special,’ he said. ‘I’m tired of pretending I’m not a total bitchin’ rock star from Mars.’
Rossen appeared startled when Sheen
said he wanted to be paid $3 million an episode to return to the show.
He’s already one of the highest-paid actors on television.
‘You want a raise?’ Rossen asked.
Replied Sheen: ‘Yeah, look what they put me through.’
On ABC, Sheen said to correspondent Andrea Canning that he planned to sue his bosses.
‘Wouldn’t you?’ he said. ‘I’ve got a
whole family to support and love. People beyond me are relying on that.
I’m here to collect. They’re going to lose. They’re going to lose in a
courtroom, so I would recommend that they settle out of court.’
Sheen said he’s bored now with
cocaine. But he said he ‘exposed people to magic’ when they partied with
him and that he loved doing drugs.
Charlie Sheen gave a rambling hour-long interview on Piers Morgan Tonight
I’m clean: Sheen denied taking drugs, showing his certificate from a negative drugs test to Morgan
Sheen said his family – including his father Martin Sheen – have tried to stage another intervention but he is ‘not interested in their rhetoric right now’.
He told them that he ‘appreciates their love and compassion if that’s what you want to call it but I’m 45-years-old and I’m not interested in people treating me like a 12-year-old’.
When told his father said he is battling a disease, Sheen said: ‘Bull***t. I cured it… with my mind.’
ABC and Radar Online had Sheen’s blood and urine tested for drugs over the weekend.
The dual tests are said to have revealed Sheen hadn’t had drugs in at least 72 hours.
‘I am on a drug,’ Sheen said. ‘It’s
called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available because if you try it, you will
die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your
Jim Bell, executive producer of Today, dismissed any suggestion that the morning shows were being enablers for Sheen.
‘It’s a great story,’ he said. ‘We
don’t have this much interest (from television writers) when we have a
big interview on Libya or a powerful, smart series on the brain.’
Former colleagues: Sheen’s long-term publicist Stan Rosenfield has quit, left, while his boss Chuck Lorre has pulled the plug on this series of Two And A Half Men
