Golf influencer Paige Spiranac vows to change name to 'Alpha Jugs' in brutal put-down

Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has promised fans she’ll be changing her name to “Alpha Jugs” after cutting a Twitter troll down to size.

The former pro player has become an internet sensation, regularly posting saucy snaps whilst also offering her 756,000 followers advice and tips with their play. But although the 29-year-old is used to being hailed by her fan base, she was also more than prepared when she got into an online spat with author Nick Adams.

Adams, who boasts in his bio he is endorsed by former US President Donald Trump, had ranted: “Can’t there be a par 3 course set aside for the slow female golfers so they don’t clog up the championship courses on the weekends? There’s no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play.”

Spiranac, who last year famously feuded with Bryson DeChambeau, duly hit back, quipping “It would be so satisfying out driving you all day long,” only for Adams, who has ‘(Alpha Male)’ on his Twitter handle, to taunt her with: “Listen, Paige, you’re not famous because of your golf swing or how far you can drive the ball.”

The American beauty wasn’t fazed though, and floored her detractor with a superb put down: “Listen, Nick, we all know I have fantastic milkers. I shall now change my name to Paige Spiranac (alpha jugs).”

Spiranac wasn’t done there, later adding: “Nick is the type of golfer who tees off from the tips but can’t hit is more than 220. He’ll wait for par 5s in two when he’s 310 out. Say ‘hit it sally’ when someone in group leaves a putt short. And thinks he has a shot with the cart girl.”

Adams continued to dig himself into a hole, defiantly arguing: “You know I’m right. I regret nothing.” But Spiranac had one last shot to fire, writing: “Little Nicky listen to Mommy Milkers and go to your room. You’re embarrassing yourself.”

Unsurprisingly, the majority of fans sided with the influencer, with @sjonesreno735 suggesting a way to settle the feud: “Challenge Nick to an 18 hole match from the same tee box. Televise it and all proceeds go to the winners favourite charity. He won’t accept because you would beat him easily and embarrass him.”

@astragsidave said: “Love it. Backing alpha jugs 100%,” while @tootall14 added: “Best milkers around…. But also amazing comebacks!!!”. @BroncoBooty wrote: “Alpha Jugs for the win!”
