Novak Djokovic has an unsurpassed figure!

While many believe that the Grand Slam fight will be a deciding factor in determining the GOAT, there is one ranking where Novak Djokovic is unsurpassed by his rivals. In fact, Nole occupies the first position in the all-time list of prize pools, with a staggering total of 164,691,308 million dollars.

This puts him well ahead of Rafa Nadal, who occupies second place with 134,329,921 million. On the lowest step of the podium we find Roger Federer, standing at 130,594,339 million dollars. Following is Andy Murray, who is trying in every way to get back on top with the help of Ivan Lendl.

Pressed by journalists during the World Tennis League in Dubai, Djokovic reiterated his intention to play for a long time to come: “I’d like to continue as long as possible. I’ve never thought about retiring so far.

Things are going quite well for me, I can’t complain. As long as I’m able to express myself on this level and have the fire inside, I’ll keep going.”

Djokovic had a particular season

Djokovic has had a very complicated year due to his choice not to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus.

The Serbian champion was unable to play in either the Australian Open or the US Open, as well as being caught in the eye of the storm at the beginning of 2022. Also due to his vaccination status, the former world number 1 also had to give up all the Masters 1000 US, Indian Wells, Miami, Montreal and Cincinnati.

The best version of Nole was seen on the grass at Wimbledon, where he took his seventh seal in his career for the fourth consecutive. The 35-year-old from Belgrade thus equaled his idol Pete Sampras and moved just one length away from Rafael Nadal in the all-time Grand Slam rankings.

Nole enhanced his season by also winning the ATP Finals of Turin, the Internazionali BNL of Italy, the ATP 500 of Astana and the ATP 250 of Tel Aviv. The Goran Ivanisevic-trained player was cleared to travel to Australia in January and will be chasing his 10th title at the 2023 Australian Open.
