Eugenie Bouchard enjoyed watching one of Novak Djokovic’s World Tennis League matches. On Friday, Djokovic – who was representing the Falcons team – played against Sebastian Ofner of the Kites team. Djokovic didn’t really have an easy day at the office but he still managed to beat Ofner 6-7 (5) 6-0 10-7.

Bouchard, who was also representing the Kites team, was watching the match from the front-row stands. “@Djokernole, the master at work,” Bouchard captioned her Instagram Story. In another Instagram Story, Bouchard wrote: “Watching Novak up close was so cool.”

On Friday, Djokovic got off to a good start against Ofner as he broke the Austrian early to open a 3-0 lead. Down by an early break, Ofner refused to quit as he broke back Djokovic in the fifth game and served out the sixth game to tie the first set to three games apiece.

In the 10th game – when Ofner was serving to stay in the first set – Djokovic had a set point but the Austrian saved it to tie the first set to five games apiece. The same thing happened in the 12th game as Ofner saved a set point to force a tie-break.

After recovering from a break down and saving two set points, Ofner won the first four points of the first-set tie-break. After the first 10 points of the tie-break, Ofner had a 6-4 lead and two consecutive set points. Djokovic saved the first set point but couldn’t save the second as Ofner managed to win a tight first set.

After losing a tight first set, Djokovic impressively bounced back as he broke Ofner three times and won the second set without a game lost. After easily winning the second set, Djokovic opened an early lead in the match tie-break and led 7-4 after the first 11 points.

But Ofner refused to quit as he won three points in a row to tie the match tie-break to seven points apiece. After losing three points in a row, Djokovic responded by winning the next three points and that’s how he completed a comeback win against Ofner.
