Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka has teamed up with Nike for the launch of her new capsule collection. Osaka on Instagram said her new collection was based on self-discovery and personal expression: “My new collection with Nike is now available.
It is based on self-discovery and personal expression. Tag me and the Nikewomen se you take pictures in any piece of the collection that I want to see.” In the latest collection, Nike focuses on the ideology of discovering and expressing one’s true self.
Nike said about the new capsule collection: “Naomi Osaka’s brand new capsule collection celebrates the discovery of your aura. We all strive to express ourselves in everything we do. Naomi’s journey on and off the court represents just that: a young woman which transcends sport by authentically living as herself.”

Naomi talked about the confusion in her head just some weeks ago, and she commented also the back pain that accompanied her 2022.
After the defeat at the US Open she said: “Right now I need to relax a bit, take a few days off, because there is a lot of chaos in my head, I think too much. Injuries affected my whole season, just a few days ago I couldn’t even serve well.
Today I competed again and on the field I felt something similar to fun. The problem remains not being able to play as I would like and this leads to defeat, which is always difficult. My biggest wish is to be able to play continuously without back problems.
I have the feeling that I gave my best today, I did what I could. The truth is that I have no precise plans for what will happen. I didn’t have faith in my game, so I played more cautiously than I should have. I also feel that I have served far below my means.
