The French Anais Meyssonnier had a great week at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida. She finished on the podium of this second stage of the LPGA cards and will try to win a right to play on the LPGA during the final over 8 laps and two courses scheduled for early December.
What if Anais Meyssonnier repeated last year’s exploit by Pauline Roussin-Bouchard? After brilliantly passing the first stage of the LPGA cards, the Arlesian validated Stage II this Sunday. While she was in the par after three laps and well established in the top 45 qualifying for the final, Meyssonnier completed this second stage in style with an excellent card of 69 (-3) on the Bobcat course.
A score synonymous with third place in the final of the event one shot behind the two winners: the American Becca Huffer and the South Korean Seulki Lee. Anais Meyssonnier, author of an eagle, a birdie on his last three holes, therefore climbs without trembling at the last stage of the card test of the great American circuit which will take place in two sessions of 72 holes in Alabama.

“I just tried to play golf and take shot after shot,” explained the Frenchwoman. “I got in two chips today, which is pretty crazy because usually my chipping isn’t the strongest part of my game.
But today it was, and I’m very happy with my game.” The players first meet from December 1 to 4 on the Magnolia Grove courses in Mobile (Crossings and Falls courses) before continuing the following week (December 8 to 11) in Dothan, still in this southern state of the USA on a combination of the two courses of the Highland Oaks Golf Course.
