QSchool with players with astonishing profiles

Six rounds, or 108 holes to play! This is what awaits the 156 players at the start of the final of the DP World Tour maps. The objective is to finish in the top 25 and tied in order to win a category in 2023. Among the contenders for a place in the elite from the first tournament scheduled for the last week of November in Joburg or in Australia (see the calendar), some big names from the European Tour, Ryder Cup players, multiple winners of tournament, all in search of past glory.

QSchool, statements

No Raphaël Jacquelin in this list. The Lyonnais has decided not to line up, unlike his tricolor friend Grégory Havret. Jarmo Sandelin
Very determined to reconnect with his glorious past, the Swede Jarmo Sandelin (photo) is the oldest player at the start of these QSchools.

At 55, he has not played a full season on the DP World Tour since 2011. Sandelin has played 457 tournaments in the top flight since his debut 30 years ago in 1992. Winner of five events, he took part in the Ryder Cup in 1999.

Like Andrew Coltart and Jean Van de Velde, the original player Finnish remained on the sidelines until the Sunday singles. Since 2011, Sandelin has only played 21 tournaments on the big circuit and won in Mauritius among the Seniors in 2019.

Stephen Gallacher
The 48-year-old Scot was also a Ryder Cup player. It was at Gleneagles in 2014. Stephen Gallacher recently won the Hero Indian Open 2019, but his exemption is coming to an end. Kiradech Aphibarnrat
After two seasons at nearly 20 PGA Tour events, the 33-year-old Thai said he was ready to go to QSchool if he didn’t keep his card.

Winner of four tournaments on the DP World Tour, Kiradech Aphibarnrat even made it into the top 30 of the world rankings. Alvaro Quiros
The Spaniard known for his “mule” strike has won 7 times in the top flight but none of his successes have been obtained in the last 10 years!

The last time Quiros, 39, went to the cards final was in 2006. Simon Dyson
Another well-known multiple winner. Simon Dyson has 6 titles and last appeared in tournaments in 2018. The 44-year-old Englishman, who suffered from a nasty wrist injury, was forced to put his career on hold but is trying to come back to the front from the scene.

David Howell
We no longer present the 47-year-old Englishman. An emblematic player on the European circuit who won the Ryder Cup twice with Europe (2004 and 2006)! With 707 tournaments, he is the second player with the most participations to his credit.
