Highly anticipated, the new G430 from PING was quick to prove its effectiveness. Keegan Bradley used it to win the ZOZO Championship and many players are already praising its qualities. A few days after causing the disqualification of the Swede Maja Stark on the LPGA (read here) the new G430 driver allowed Keegan Bradley to return to victory by beating Rickie Fowler and Andrew Putnam at the Narashino Country Club in Japan.

Keegan Bradley, statements

Used for the first time on the PGA Tour at the Shriners Children’s Open by Jason Day, it had already seduced the former world number 1. “It’s supposed to be a few miles per hour faster, that’s what PING claims, and they also say it favors Fade trajectories,” he told Golf WRX about his G430 LST model.

This club is not yet available for sale, it will be in mid-January 2023. 22 players used ping drivers during the ZOZO Championship and it was the G430 that obtained the most favor from the players. Among the most enthusiastic the Chilean Mito Pereira, seduced by the new sound produced by the club on impact but not only… “I was playing the G425 Max before, and it was slower than the one I’ve now gone with, the G430 LST.

I think I gain 2-3 mph more ball speed…” Keegan Bradley (born June 7, 1986 in Woodstock, Vermont) is an American professional golfer on the US PGA Tour. Immediately in his first year on the tour, he caused quite a stir by winning the 2011 PGA Championship.

In addition to being only the third professional player, after Ben Curtis and Francis Ouimet, to win his first major appearance, he was the first to use a belly putter. As a result of his accomplishments, he was also voted 2011 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

Keegan Bradley grew up in the state of Vermont, which is not typical for an American golf pro. During the long Vermont winters, he regularly competed in ski races. But when he realized that he preferred the weather conditions when golfing to skiing, he decided at the age of 12 to focus full-time on golf.[2] His aunt Pat Bradley, who was his early role model, played a large part in this.

Pat has won 31 tournaments on the LPGA Tour and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. In 2008 he decided to turn professional. He competed on the NGA Hooters Tour, where he had his first win in his fifth appearance.[3] In 2009, he had another win on that tour and made his debut on the Nationwide Tour, where he managed to make the cut twice in two starts.

In 2010 he played consistently on the Nationwide Tour. After a hesitant start, he achieved four consecutive top 5 results at the end of the season, which brought him 14th place in the final standings and he was therefore able to secure his playing license on the PGA Tour.[4] Already in the second tournament on the PGA Tour in 2011 he managed a top ten result at the Bob Hope Classics. And his first win came in his freshman year at the HP Bryon Nelson Championships in the playoff against Ryan Palmer.
