Talor Gooch reacts to Billy Horschel’s call out: “He supports what’s..”

LIV Golfers will certainly not have a good welcome in the BMW PGA Championship. Although it looked like they would not be part of the tournament, the court still made a decision that they have the right. Billy Horschel had harsh statements and mentioned several names that he does not believe are sincere in their intentions.

Horschel thinks that the players are hypocritical and that their main motive is world ranking points. Since LIV Golf still has no rights to the points, this is an excellent chance for LIV Golfers. However, in the near future, LIV Golf could also become part of OWGR “I honestly don’t think that the American guys who haven’t supported the Tour should be here,” Horschel said as quoted by RTE.ie “Abraham Ancer, Talor Gooch… you’ve never played this tournament, you’ve never supported the DP World Tour.

Why are you here? You are here for one reason only and that’s to try to get world ranking points because you don’t have it (on LIV Golf). It’s hypocritical because of what some of these guys have said when they said they wanted to play less golf.”

Talor Gooch reaction

Talor Gooch is one of the players who decided to react to Horschel’s statements. Gooch believes that everyone does what is best for them. “He supports what’s best for his career. Like all of us do,” Gooch wrote on Twitter.

RTE journalist gave a question: If Jon Rahm was correct that he was only at Wentworth to try to earn world ranking points, and he replied: “World ranking points and first time I’ve earned a spot into this event.

Super excited to play. Name a top 50 player in history who hasn’t chased world ranking points…” An exciting situation and a potentially interesting outcome. We will see what kind of reception LIV Golfers will have.
