Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham remain eager to add to their squads during the final few days of the transfer window. Despite all three London giants being busy, the closing hours of the window look set to hold much more activity. Indeed, Mikel Arteta is eager to add a winger to his squad between now and September 1, with Wilfried Zaha reportedly emerging as a target amid fears Wolves could price them out of a move for Pedro Neto.

Over at Stamford Bridge, there’s a big story developing. With Wesley Fofana having a medical and both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Anthony Gordon targeted, a certain Cristiano Ronaldo has re-emerged. Reports suggest that amid doubts about the two other forwards, the Manchester United star’s agents are reportedly pushing a move to west London.

For Spurs, Ruslan Ruslan Malinovskyi is said to remain of interest but recent reports suggest the club are in talk with Leeds over a potential move for Daniel James. Elsewhere, Frenkie De Jong, Lucas Paqueta and Antony remain in the headlines. Follow all of the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

Ferdinand has been impressed by how well Jesus has settled in with his new team, but feels Arsenal fans are getting carried away compared to how his defacto replacement at Manchester City, in Erling Haaland, has blown the league away.

Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, the Manchester United legend said: “I think that Jesus’s impact has been unreal.

“I think that he has been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do.”
