United legend Dwight Yorke has opened up on the dreadful state the club was in before Erik ten Hag’s arrival. Yorke visited the club while doing his UEFA Pro License last season and was hugely concerned with what he saw.

Ten Hag has now taken over and appears to be moving the culture at Old Trafford back in a positive direction. But Yorke still believes that huge changes are needed if they are to return to their former statuts.

Bruno Fernandes has been slammed for his time-wasting antics against Liverpool. The Portugal international, who was named United’s captain for the clash on Monday night frustrated the Reds after Mohamed Salah scored.

“Bruno Fernandes’s gamesmanship is getting out of control, and Michael Oliver’s strange reluctance to send him off against Liverpool on Monday will only encourage Fernandes to behave even worse in the future,” Cascarino said.
