Caitlyn Jenner on the differences between the transgender golfer and Lia Thomas

Transgender golfer Hailey Davidson is fighting to become the first transgender person to earn an LPGA Tour card. Caitlyn Jenner had something to say about Davidson and decided to give her maximum support. Many wonder why Jenner supports Davidson, and on the other hand, she did not want to support Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer who competes in the female category.

Jenner explained it: “I’ve been very consistent with how I’ve tried to approach these transgender athletes. It really depends on the sport. Every sport is different,” Jenner said as quoted by nypost. “Obviously, we saw with Lia Thomas, she had gone through male puberty, bigger cardiovascular system, it just wasn’t fair.

And fortunately, we won that one” “She’s playing within the rules,” Jenner agreed. “Golf is totally different game. It is a game of touch and feel”.

Caitlyn Jenner: “To be honest with you..”

Jenner believes that there will not be a noticeable difference here, given that the girls at LPGA play great and are top in their sport. “These girls are really, really good,” Jenner said, adding: “I support Davidson’s effort, I am unsure whether she actually has what it takes to compete in the LPGA Tour.

Honestly, for me, the jury is still out on this one,” Jenner said. “I don’t think she’s gonna be in a position where she’s gonna be dominating on the LPGA tour. To be honest with you, those girls are so good”.

Jenner also supported Hailey’s mother, as she knows how much courage a person must have for such things. “To be honest with you, I’m on HaiIey’s mom’s side,” she said. “They don’t know what it is like to go through a transition, how difficult it is.

The mothers do know and Hailey’s mom knows what this child has been through and is out there supporting her”.
