At the bottom of the table, Bordeaux fell again against Troyes and remains more than ever last in Ligue 1 (0-2). Rennes dominates Angers and continues its good series of victories (2-0).

In this Ligue 1 multiplex, four matches took place. At the bottom of the standings, after the first match of fear between Saint-Etienne and Metz, at the bottom of the table, it was Bordeaux who received Troyes in a match between the bottom team and the penultimate of the championship. At home, the Bordelais once again delivered a disappointing performance and once again lost against a Trojan team which nevertheless remained on 5 games without a win. On a penalty from Mama Baldé, Gaetan Poussin pushed the ball away, but scored a gag goal against his camp when he got up (28th). Like a symbol. After a second period not up to par, Bordeaux conceded a new penalty (87th). Mothiba transformed. Troyes leaves the red zone while the Girondins remain more than ever last.

At the top of the table, Rennes confirmed their very good form at the moment by winning against Angers. The difference was made at the half-hour mark thanks to the inevitable Benjamin Bourigeaud. His fifth goal of the season. Asphyxiated, the Angevins could not get back into the game despite a few opportunities initiated by Boufal and others. Gaetan Laborde also scored the break goal at the very end of the match. Angers concede their sixth defeat in a row in Ligue 1 while Rennes move up to 4th place in the standings, one point behind OM.

Strasbourg held in check, Nantes continues

After their historic qualification for the final of the Coupe de France this week against Monaco, Nantes continued by dominating Montpellier. It is again and again thanks to the duo Ludovic Blas – Kolo Muani that Antoine Kombouaré’s men have made the difference. The first was decisive passer for the second who scored his 11th goal of the season. Geubbels even scored a second goal late in the game. With this precious success, the Canaries consolidate their sixth place while Montpellier fall again after their defeat against Rennes last weekend.

Finally in the last game, Strasbourg were held in check by Reims in a game that came alive in the last minutes of the game. Bellegarde found the fault and thought to offer victory to Strasbourg in this match but it was without counting on the last Rim rookie Cadjus who scored his first goal and who equalized especially in the last moments (86th). With this draw, Strasbourg remains 5th but sees Nantes getting closer in the standings.
