According to The Sun, West Ham are interested in Lille defensive midfielder Amadou Onana. Hammers manager David Moyes, who pointed out the 20-year-old Belgian during the Champions League game against Chelsea in February, is keen to bring the Lille native to London next summer.
West Ham are preparing an offer of 20 million euros for the player who is under contract with LOSC until June 2026. The London team would like to recruit the Belgian U21 international now to prevent his price from rising too much. Arriving from Hamburg last summer for seven million euros, Onana has played 30 games this season with the Mastiffs, scoring 2 goals and providing an assist.
