Dismissed from Watford after a few months after catastrophic results which caused the Hornets to tumble to 19th place, Claudio Ranieri is no longer coach of the English team. In search of a new technician, the London club targeted Roy Hodgson who was still coach of Crystal Palace last season.

Having retired last summer, the 74-year-old technician should therefore make his comeback as announced on DailyMail. Former coach of Switzerland and England, Roy Hodgson also coached Blackburn, Liverpool and West Bromwich in the English elite. It’s up to him to try to breathe new life into Watford. He is expected to sign a six-month contract.
