Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has penned a heartfelt note to his colleagues over their support for him at his father’s burial.
Kemi Filani reported a month back that Odunlade had announced the demise of his father, Pastor N.A Adekola. The famous Yoruba actor shared a photo of his father, as he told his father to rest well.


His father was laid to rest over the week in his hometown in Otun-ekiti, Ekiti State. Muyiwa Ademola, Ibrahim Chatta, Ireti Osaiyemi, and Eniola Ajao had shown their support for him.
On Saturday, the actor held the final burial of his father, which had the whole Yoruba industry coming out in full force to support.


Top actors Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola, Ibrahim Chatta, Mide Martins and her husband Afeez Owo, Mercy Aigbe and husband Kazim Adeoti, Toyin Abraham and husband Kolawole Ajeyemi, Fausat Balogun, Eniola Ajao, Itele, Taiwo Hassan, Dayo Amusa, Ronke Odusanya, Dele Ogunle, Biola Bayo, and Ijebu were in attendance.
Also, in attendance were Bimbo Afolayan, Esther Kalejaye, Salami Rotimi, Bidemi Kosoko and her elder sister Sola Kosoko, Regina Chukwu, Mama No Network, Ayo Olaiya, Akin Olaiya, Akin Lewis, Damola Olatunji, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Kunle Afod, Lekan Olatunji, Babatunde Aderinoye, Woli Agba, and a host of others were in attendance.


Taking to his Instagram page to appreciate them, he described them as his family and expressed gratitude.

Odunlade adds to the list of celebrities who have lost their parents this year.
In similar news, actor Adekola Tijani lost his mother. Sharing a candlelight photo on his Instagram, he questioned his Maker, stating that it shouldn’t be him.
Also, actress Nuella Njubigbo had lost her father. The movie star announced the sad news with a candlelight photo as she prayed for her father to rest in peace.
In February, Ini Edo had announced the death of her beloved father, who she described as her greatest cheerleader. Calling him her beloved father and first love, Ini promised that her late father would forever remain in her heart.
To add to it, in January, Nollywood actor and comedian Woli Arole lost his beloved father. The actor described his late father as his hero and role model as he noted how he left a legacy, which is him. He admitted that he would miss him and expressed how happy he was that he spent his last moments with his father in joy, prayers, and fun.
